This program aims to prevent and detect illness and disease and promote the health of our patients. We do this by offering preventative care and cancer screening based on specific guidelines. Our team works collaboratively with enrolled patients to provide effective, quality intervention.

Preventative Care and Cancer Screening includes:

  • Immunization
  • Colorectal Cancer Screening (FIT Testing)
  • Breast Cancer Screening (Mammography
  • Cervical Cancer Screening (PAP testing)

Immunization Schedule

Reporting Immunizations

Reporting immunizations to the Windsor-Essex Health Unit is the patient (or parent/ guardian’s) responsibility. Well baby/child and adolescent visits for immunizations should be scheduled at the age of 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 4 to 6 years and 14 to 16 years.
